The United States of America will hold federal, state and local elections on November 8, 2022. In these “mid-term” elections, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be up for grabs, as well as some state governorships and legislatures, and local political offices. Â
All US citizens overseas – not just the female ones – should be ready to secure their right to vote in the election. If you have not already done so, go straight to your computer and register to vote/request a ballot with the  or the Federal Voting Assistance Program ().Ìý

The following states have primary and special elections for federal office in the coming months:
July 2022Â
- July 19: Primary Election – Maryland (rescheduled from June 28)
- July 26: Runoff Primary Election – North Carolina
August 2022Â
- August 2: Primary Elections – Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Washington
- August 4: Primary Election – Tennessee
- August 6: Territory Primary – Virgin Islands
- August 9: Primary Elections – Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin
- August 9: Special General – Minnesota CD 1
- August 13: Primary Election – Hawaii
- August 16: Primary Elections – Alaska and Wyoming
- August 16: Special General – Alaska U.S. House
- August 23: Primary Elections – Florida and Oklahoma
- August 27: Territory Primary – Guam
